Financial Education

In the first lesson, a team from the ABLE National Resource Center will take you through the nuts-and-bolts of ABLE Accounts: who is eligible, how to choose an ABLE plan, how to open an ABLE account, depositin money into ABLE, Qualified Disability Expenses and more. In the second lesson, Tobey Partch-Davies takes a broader view of financial planning for people with disabilities: personal budgeting, financial planning, how to save on a limited income, statutory limits on people who receive SSi and SSDI, socail attitudes about money and work, person-centeredness and considerations when working with culturally diverse, unbanked or marginal people.
