Virtual Event Save the Date! An Inclusive Talent Pipeline for American Businesses Prize Challenge

Tuesday, October 19, 2:30 – 4:00 pm ET
Register for the virtual event.

Are you interested in advancing competitive, integrated employment for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities? If so, this event will interest you.

Businesses that want to diversify their workforces do not always know how to implement effective talent pipelines that include people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD). Additionally, people with ID/DD have, historically, been left out of the workforce due to the many barriers to employment.

In November 2019, ACL launched the Inclusive Talent Pipeline for American Businesses prize competition to help identify ways that businesses can expand their recruiting and retention programs to better include workers with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Join ACL for a National Disability Employment Awareness Month celebration and challenge competition grand prize event as the finalists present their tested workforce pipeline models, which demonstrate unique program solutions for recruiting and retaining workers with disabilities.

Visit the challenge website to learn more.

This free event will include live captioning and ASL interpretation. Please let us know by Thursday, October 14 if you require any additional accommodations to fully participate in the event.

Please direct any questions to Dana Fink or call 202-795-7604.
