This lesson will emphasize the importance of Center for Independent Living (CILs) providing employment services and give CILs an introduction on starting or expanding these programs. How employment should be embedded in each CILs core services will be explained and discussed. A specific emphasis will be placed on the unique role that CILs play in providing employment services and how to maximize that role.
